THE GOOD
• Very fun seeing the writers go outside their comfort zone with the characters.
• Michaelangelo being very brooding, reckless and aggressive made for some great character progression.
• A satisfying ending.

THE BAD
• The bad guys are a bit silly and their dialogue can at times be less diabolical and more ridiculous.
• The pacing is way too fast.

This is an interesting comic book in that it has gotten wayyyyyyy more hype and exposure to the masses compared to any other TMNT comic. So much exposure that a video game has been announced and sequel comics. For the uninitiated, This comic follows Michaelangelo in his later years after his brothers has died. Without going into to much detail I will leave it at that for you to find out, but the idea is cool so I encourage you to pick up a copy!

I think the problem a lot of new readers will find with this one is that you need to have a bit of a history lesson to know what the hell is going on. There is some characters that show up and you literally will have no idea who they are, which makes your investment in them very low. The villain is a descendant of shredder and his personality is that of a wet mop. this dude at one point walks out into the rain and yells at the sky about how diabolical he is, what a fuckin turd!

Anyways if you are a turtles fan this a great read. I don't think its some crazy good comic as the hype has maybe led you to believe but considering these comics aren't known for being next level story telling, this is a great time to hop in.
